WHAT IS THE LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS?

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, multi-issue, grassroots political organization that operates on the local, state and national levels. It encourages informed and active participation in government and influences public policy through education and advocacy. The League is strictly nonpartisan and does not support parties or candidates.

WHAT DOES THE LEAGUE DO?

We register voters and defend voting rights - distribute nonpartisan information on candidates and ballot issues - monitor government activities - conduct candidates debates and public issues forums - inform through in-depth and balanced issues analysis - study issues - take action, lobby, and testify on the issues you care about
