Volunteers are needed to help out with LWVNYS Convention, May 31st - June 2nd, 2013 at the Albany Hilton. Anne Burton of the Rensselaer Co LWV is chairing the volunteer committee. As usual, we need assistance from local League members as volunteers to staff registration, sales, plenary and hospitality suite on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We are also looking for some local members to join others on the Dine Around on Friday night – it’s a fun way to just chat and network with League members from around the state. As a volunteer, the member can attend the plenary session as an observer at no cost, although they cannot be a voting delegate unless they are a paid registrant. Please contact Anne at anneburton10@gmail.com.
Anyone interested in participating in the Observer Corps should contact Jan Messina at 439-0346 and check out the web page for information and the meeting chart.
